Hello everyone,

Why This Game, and Why Now?
ArcheAge Chronicles is neither a direct sequel nor a reboot. It’s a brand-new story set 50 years after the events of the original game. Auroria, once wild and dangerous, is now stirring back to life. New settlements are rising from the ruins, and you’re part of the first brave wave returning to this land.
This isn’t ArcheAge 2, nor is it a traditional MMORPG. It’s an online action RPG focused on exploration and discovery, featuring tighter combat, a more intimate narrative, and a cooperative multiplayer experience without massive zerg battles.

What Makes It Different?
The combat system has been rebuilt from scratch: combos, dodging, and weapon-specific skills that reward strategic play over button-mashing.
Exploration plays a key role. There are no glowing arrows pointing you where to go. You’ll find forgotten temples, mysterious characters, and ruins echoing with the whispers of ancient gods. Some things you’ll stumble upon by accident — that’s the point.
The world is still shared, but on a smaller, more personal and intimate scale, with small group sizes, meaningful cooperation, and experiences free from chaotic mass PvP.
